db_purge is set to 7 days here.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Thank you for responding to my inquiry. I do know the same applies to E@H also, but they definitely run off a different standard for BOINC.
.....[EDIT].....
I just noticed on the Server Status page (Universe) that there is a "db_purge" line listed as "running". Would that be meant for purging the database? Was that line there before?

I personally have over 12,000 completed tasks with credit, and the numbers keep climbing.
Do they ever roll over the completed tasks? Or will it continue to rise?

I too have passed 500K RAC on U@H, though it does take longer than E@H. But... I only have 2 desktops and 1 ancient laptop.
Hopefully, you'll get as many people responding to this thread as in E@H.

I do not see any tasks that did not make deadline. The deadline is two weeks. Your host only has a handful of tasks so you are not overcommitting the host and you return work sent in a day well within the deadline.

Your host is not slow at all even though it may be ten years old.

Continue on as you were. I see nothing wrong.

I am preparing for "the test" of SSDs, otherwise known as the Pentathlon? I also upgraded my offline storage, increasing by 1 day in preparation for the delays, if any.
We'll see if it helps or hurts. I'll be sure to have some Advil ready just in case. ;^)

At he end of 2019 something very strange happened with Universe@Home. What was it? We had gone from over 33k users to just 422 in less than a month.

9) Message boards : Number crunching : Does anyone have a way of getting faster BHspin v2 0.19 tasks? (Message 4769)
Posted 19 Jul 2021 by Profile GWGeorge007
Post:
It looks like the fastest I can run Universe BHspin2 tasks is ~47 min. Some go as high as ~53 min, but it is still better than what I had before. So I'll go back to 2 CPUs and 1 GPU per GPU task for Einstein.

Almost 1 day and 16 hours later I'm still running about the same.
Time to switch up to 3 CPU core and 1 GPU core per GPU task.

Thanks Jim,
I just changed mine to 2-CPUs & 1-GPU per GPU task, leaving the CPU tasks alone. We'll see what happens in a few hours.
BTW, I'm running GRP and not GW in my GPUs.

Okay, as of right now I'm running anywhere between ~38 min to ~52 min for the BH2 CPU tasks. That's a far cry better than ~60 min per task.

I have a 3950X & x2 RTX-2070 Super with Universe (only) in CPU mode & Einstein (only) in GPU mode. My Universe tasks are taking ~60 min per task.
Anyone have anything faster?

...[EDIT]...

I forgot to mention that I am running Linux Ubuntu v20.04.2.
