One of my favorite threads on some other projects is "Milestones".

I expect to have another system passing the half-million mark for its U@H RAC very soon.
And I wanted a place to brag about it here.

The commonest "brag" however is the total RAC a system/user has run up. Something very impressive about "1 BILLION" or "1 TRILLION" totals.... It begins to feel at least Galaxy sized...

I've been able to keep all my PC hosts above 500K RAC so far. Even while also doing TN-Grid and yoyo cpu tasks.
Managed to crack 800K occassionally on the fast Epyc host.

Congratulations. Hope to get a bit higher with my Epyc 7601 than 500k but who knows?

I too have passed 500K RAC on U@H, though it does take longer than E@H. But... I only have 2 desktops and 1 ancient laptop.
Hopefully, you'll get as many people responding to this thread as in E@H.

It is getting closer and closer to 600K. <holding breath>

Hello... Tom... are you still there? You need to breathe now!
Seems like you passed 600k with that machine :-)

Great thread!
It's undeniably kind of fun/satisfying to brag sometimes :)
Usually I'm a humble person but when a few of my machines pass 1M RAC it's difficult not to want to brag a little :)

Also a little bit difficult not to be a bit jealous of Ian&Steve's 192 cpu "monster" :o

Thanks!

Also, thank you for your advise during the Pentathlon contest.
I think it helped a little bit...
Try this in your cc_config.xml file.

And my EPYC system has made it past 600,000 on its U@H processing. Who knows how far it will get?

I just looked at your computers. It looks reasonable that the 2 machines you have that are running at 1M+ will be joined by 2 more (same brand/model/operating systems).

Plus you rejoice in a "full on" farm of 18 systems registered at U@H.

I remember some of those older server CPU model numbers. Back when I was making more money I had a couple of dual CPU motherboards using them.

Salute!

My Epyc 7601 made it into the top twenty here. If there are some other movers that ranking could go away easily.

But making it to 608,000+ doesn't go away as easily.

My Epyc system has joined the top 10 and passed the 850,000 threshold. (upgraded cpu)

As long as the gpu's don't cause another reboot I would say it is going good :)

My Epyc box has topped 1 Million RAC (for now). Unfortunately the GPU is still interrupting progress. So am NNT GPU tasks in other projects for now.

So the question becomes how far below 1 Million will it drop before it "recovers".

Congratulations Keith!!

I'm still doing all I can to get up to 1 Billion... still haven't made it to 600 Million.

I think this ranking is the longest time I have spent on ANY Boinc project in the #5 position.

My Eypic-Ox https://universeathome.pl/universe/show_host_detail.php?hostid=632795 finally made it up past 1.5M RAC on U@H.

Except for lifting the power limit I think I have run out of ideas on how to increase its processing.

Congratz Tom. That is an achievement. Increasing the power without improving the cooling is a zero sum game.

IIRC, you have an AIO on that cpu, correct?

Yes, I have an AIO cpu cooler on the Epyc-OX (above) system.

There has been a drop in production to below 1.5M but I don't expect it to go below 1.4M before it starts back up.
