I have a 3950X & x2 RTX-2070 Super with Universe (only) in CPU mode & Einstein (only) in GPU mode. My Universe tasks are taking ~60 min per task.
Anyone have anything faster?

I forgot to mention that I am running Linux Ubuntu v20.04.2.

Something is amiss. I was running Universe on a Ryzen 2700 and getting around 45 minutes or so on Ubuntu 20.04.2.
You are probably running the GW work units on Einstein They take a lot of CPU support. Try reserving two cores for them.
With a fast card like an RTX-2070, it might even help to reserve three cores.

I just changed mine to 2-CPUs & 1-GPU per GPU task, leaving the CPU tasks alone. We'll see what happens in a few hours.
BTW, I'm running GRP and not GW in my GPUs.

Okay, as of right now I'm running anywhere between ~38 min to ~52 min for the BH2 CPU tasks. That's a far cry better than ~60 min per task.

Almost 1 day and 16 hours later I'm still running about the same.
Time to switch up to 3 CPU core and 1 GPU core per GPU task.

It looks like the fastest I can run Universe BHspin2 tasks is ~47 min. Some go as high as ~53 min, but it is still better than what I had before. So I'll go back to 2 CPUs and 1 GPU per GPU task for Einstein.

It all depends on what tasks you are crunching in the series cycle. The cycle has short runtimes, long runtimes and then short runtimes again.

And then the next series starts and the cycle repeats.

You can't just proclaim that all your tasks run in xx amount of minutes. It varies during the cycles. And varies in the parameters being passed to each work unit.

Your current tasks are completing in 33 minutes.
