Description

Rather than recycling still working but older, completely obsolete, or semi functional computers, I believe we should, when possible, let them work on various distributed computing projects until they no longer function. This is because even when properly recycled only 30 percent of the materials are gained back as well as producing a lot of toxic chemicals. Some people think it's a waist of electricity because how much more efficient the newest hardware is, but I say we spent all this energy and resources to makes these computers, so we might as well extract as much resources or "Good" out of them before they are recycled.
