An Instructional Guide To Building A Fashionable Jewelry Piece Out Of Ordinary Necklaces

Team info
Description

Necklace fashion has been around for quite some time now. It is relatively a new phenomenon in Europe and the United States, but is very popular and a huge market in parts of Asia. Necklaces are of many varieties, some are intentionally cheap and tacky, others are custom made, while other necklaces are designed to bring good luck, and others are handmade.

For guys, they may choose to wear a chain, or a normal type chain with many different styles to choose from. Some may choose to add a pendant (especially ladies). A round pendant, a heart pendant, a cross pendant, a flower pendant, a metal chain, a rope pendant, etc. If there is any other pendant you want to add, use this technique.

There are several ways you can make a ring out of a chain, but you must always remember that the technique is always different from person to person, and there is no one right way or the correct way to do it.

The pendant or the necklace needs to be 1" or smaller to fit within the ring. This is especially important for ladies, because they usually wear rings, but not necklaces. With girls, there is not a specific size for a chain pendant, and some girls even wear rings on their toes, which are not included in the technique, but are still considered necklaces.

To make a ring or a necklace with a chain, you will need a tiny bit of wire or a length of wire of the right diameter to use as a thread.

You need to make sure that the chain is as short as possible so that it will fit inside the ring properly. You can also trim the ends of the chain, if the ends are too long. Don't forget to attach a prong of some kind to the ring!

So, let's get started.

1. First thing to do is to cut the chain about 3/8" long.

2. Now, we need to attach the thread. Cut a thin piece of chain of about 2' and attach the thread on one end to the ring.

3. After it's attached, wrap the thread around the ring to make it look like a ring.

4. And then repeat this step for the other side, and you're done!
