Uploaded them on 11-Mar presumably when WCG was announced. Then nothing but pendings for a week until you dropped again on 19-Mar. Funny that, eh? So, would you have been posting your crap in this thread if your own e-peen had been boosted by bunkers for the correct project last week? I think not. PS: I am struggling to understand why you say "at the expense of the project". I'm sure any project who doesn't want the huge points boost from the Formula Boinc circus coming to town, need only contact Seb |

Well, I don't know about you but I tend to report WU only after a sprint actually STARTS. Do you not think it more likely that hundreds of attaches and thousands of downloads when the sprint was ANNOUNCED were equally likely to deplete resources and saturate bandwidth. Anyhow, as VietOz says, most completed WU are uploaded long in advance of even the announcement Oh, and if you got any of the ULX work units, you may have noticed that some of the results files are 5Mb, 50Mb and larger So sir, next time you try to 'name and shame' try to research a bit better |

In going, can I just make the point that a completed WU advances the science of the project by precisely the same amount whether it be crunched by a competitive cruncher, by a Gridcoin cruncher or by a dyed-in-the-wool astrophysicist who crunches nothing else. |

You have also basically invalidated the Formula Boinc marathon for 2019 by the way. This may not matter to you but it matters greatly to many others. |

Posted 21 Jul 2019 by davidBAM Post: Could we please have 16 or even 32 WU per thread? The overall limit of 512 WU means that a Ryzen 2990WX (64 threads) only gets enough work for less than 4 hours. I'd like to bunker more to have enough work during times when project can't supply enough. |
