People complain if project admins don't communicate. No winning with some people. If the site/server went down during this maintenance people, those same people would also be claiming Universe@home is dead and mad at the project admins for not letting anyone know. You literally can't win.

Unless I go to the IP directly I usually get redirected to a "buy a domain" page. The popup ads crap on the main page are still present sometimes even sending me to NSFW web sites.

If you click the top links on the home page (not the BOINC part, but the main root level directory for the /en/ directory. http://radioactiveathome.org/en/ Clicking the Project OR the Forum (others might be infected as well) it will sometimes try to redirect you to a phishing web site. This does not happen every time, but most of the time when I go to the site, usually after the session has expired or some time has passed, it will attempt to do this and my browser will block it.

This Sprint may bring a slightly higher than usual load on your servers for the duration, but BOINCGames.com is still under BETA testing and the particpiation level is still relatively low. This is just a heads-up that you might want to ensure there is enough work for the participants if your project is selected.

We can have diverse purposes but still enjoy the crunching and the competition to pass each other My Team is called The Final Front Ear which is obviously a play on Star Trek but we are NOT trekkies, we are just a bunch of people who enjoy crunching and needed a catchy name for a Team. We have people that have a single laptop to people like me who have a 'computer room' in the garage with it's own mini-split ac system to keep it cool and all kinds of people inbetween, the people are from all over and we are an International Team. It's a clever name. I definitely thought you guys were Star Trek fans. Our team consists of a similar demographic of users. All just as important as the next.

A loyalty to a review site is pathetic. No, you have no point. Much like you have no friends. So you tell yourself joining a "country" team is better because it's the only thing you have in common. Unlike having real friends whom form a team from similar interests. All you got is the place you entered this world in.

You wanna make both the same, knock yourself out. But saying one has to choose a Country as a team just shows how shallow and childish you really all. Granted the entire BOINC community already knows this about you anyway.
