I now have the same issue for my two other laptops. Both are not receiving work units.

22.08.2016 17:15:57 | Universe@Home | No tasks sent
22.08.2016 17:15:57 | Universe@Home | Tasks are committed to other platforms

Or

22.08.2016 17:30:25 | Universe@Home | No tasks are available for Universe BHspin v2

(only this selected in pref)

On server status page - 40K tasks ready to send for BHspin v2

PS. Last task i received 21 Aug 2016, 22:11:21 UTC

That is the same issue that I am getting. I have two other laptops, and both have work units that are waiting to be crunched. So while WCG are getting priority I do have about six or seven BHspin v2 or other tasks waiting.

This machine when I click on update produces that same message as Sergey every time. I would think that even if my project weight is 20 it would at least capture one or two tasks.

Some more QuarkStars would be nice too ^_^

We should have those work units running on our androids as those are very short and quick.

Hello,

I recently added a power edge 840 server to a list of the computer that I use to crunch for Universe@home and WCG.

I have no issues getting work units for WCG, however I consistently do not see any comput out of Universe@home.

The following are the details about the server that I have running:

GenuineIntel Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz [Family 15 Model 6 Stepping 4]
Linux 4.2.0-42-generic (lubuntu).

I have WCG set as 100 and Universe@home set as 20 project weight.

Did anyone experience this issue before with any of their other machines?

So checked back to see how my raspberry pi 3 is doing and apparently so far it has crunched 100k worth of boinc credits in a month. I originally activated on July 17th and now its Aug 17th.

This is a pretty good number of results (at least in my opinion). This is also setting CPU utilization to 70% so that it does not fry itself. Definitely will be looking on setting up another one or two to keep crunching for this project.

If anyone else has the same set up I would love to hear how your Raspberries are doing :)

Is this new application compatible with Raspberry devices? If not I will have to create a separate profile for it. It did say that linux under the applications page, but just want to make sure.

Thank you

Hello,

I am currently usign the Raspberry Pi 3 model now and glad to say that it is working without any issues. Last time I checked it already had about 9 tasks sent back and they were valid.

Actually surprised that it is working so quickly :) Glad to see that your project supports this as this is a very low power alternative.

Hello,

I am also having having the same issue. I contribute to two projects and I just got overloaded by new work units :-/. I am expecting most of them to not complete because of this. These are the BHspin work units. I actually had no recent issues with ULX.

Well currently I have it set at 40c and so far it does not seem to throttle at all even this three full time cpu's running. There did appear something else that I hope someone saw.

While the work unit is running it would be doing toward 90% and then all of a sudden the progress bar would go down all the way to 10%, however the total run time does not change.

I actually have one of these running right now where work time has reached 3h 30min and the progress bar reached to 86.5%. So it does work, but just takes longer than the other ones. I am hoping that this is just because they are longer.

Just an update.

You were correct Jagdog. It seems like because I was having 4 cores it was getting to the heat limit and kept suspending. I also have a setting that has BOINC suspend when the screen is on and it was probably that constant stop and go that reset them.

I have now only 2 running and have un-selected the stop when screen is on.

Can you please let me know how your android device is set up? How many cores and what temp you have selected?

Thank you

I have HTC M8 Android version 3.4.0-g152801d (Android 5.0.1).

I have downloaded a couple of tasks, but the first four keep going from 63% to 55% for over 3 hours now.

Does anyone else have this issue with Android v5? I have a table with version 4 and it seems to be able to work them without issues.

My Shield Tab with Android 5.1.1 run tasks under 1h.

Maybe your device get to hot and throttles or switch off some core.
Try to run only 3 or 2 tasks same time.

Hi Jagdog,

I will try, however I used these devices to work on units from different projects like WorldCommunityGrid and it had no issues before. I had 4 cores running at 100%. I will try your solution and post back in hopes someone else is having the same issue as I. The weird thing is that it did complete two units, but now is stuck on the latest four for a couple of hours now. Keeps saying that it only did between 33min and 47 minutes of work.

Thanks
