There are still a few projects that have Raspberry PI work; Einstein, Asteroids and Seti. As I understand it the MilkyWay app can be recompiled and run on a Raspberry Pi, which I've been meaning to try but haven't gotten around to it yet.
On my Raspberry PI3s I've set the resource share to 100% for Universe and one or more of the other three to 0 so I keep crunching something but still have a chance of getting a Universe task sometimes.

Tn-Grid too!

I tried a few of the things you listed with no luck either. I was skeptical that it was a U@H issue since I didn't see anyone post a thread about it, but now that you've chimed in I'm confident that the issue is on the project's side.

I still have 9 days until the completed tasks start hitting the deadline.

I also sent a private message to Krzysztof Piszczek (project admin).

These are the three boards (all A53) that I can't get to work on this project:

1) NanoPi A64, Allwinner A64, 4x Cortex-A53, running Ubuntu Mate (fails 50% of tasks on TN-Grid, doing fine on SETI)
2) NanoPi NEO 2, Allwinner H5, 4x Cortex-A53, running Armbian 5.27.170614 nightly (works on TN-Grid)
3) Orange Pi PC2, Allwinner H5, 4x Cortex-A53, running Armbian (works on TN-Grid)

These work fine:

1) NanoPi M1, Allwinner H3, 4x Cortex-A7, running Armbian
2) NanoPi M3, Samsung S5P6818, 8x Cortex-A53, running Debian
3) NanoPi NEO, Allwinner H3, 4x Cortex-A7, running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
4) Odroid-XU4, Samsung Exynos5422, 4x Cortex-A15 and 4x Cortex-A7, running Ubuntu Mate
5) Orange Pi Lite, Allwinner H3. 4x Cortex-A7, running Armbian
6) Orange Pi One, Allwinner H3, 4x Cortex-A7, running Armbian
7) Orange Pi Zero, Allwinner H2, 4x Cortex-A7, running Armbian 5.30
8) pcDuino4 Nano, Allwinner H3, 4x Cortex-A7, running Debian
9) pcDuino8 Uno, Allwinner H8, 8x Cortex-A7, running Ubuntu 14
10) Pine A64, Allwinner A64, 4x Cortex-A53, running Armbian
11) Raspberry Pi 2
12) Raspberry Pi 3

Haven't tried yet:

1) NanoPi NEO Air, Allwinner H3, 4x Cortex-A7, running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

I crunch with a lot of single board computers (same ARM chips as a lot of android phones and tablets). 3 of my 16 varieties of single board computers have this issue as well.

I've tried multiple Linux OS's and also Android with no luck. I haven't been able to figure it out and I got sick of fiddling with it, so I ended up moving those 3 to TN-Grid.

I'm sure there's a solution, but I'm not quite bright enough to figure it out. I'll keep an eye on this thread in case someone with more knowledge comes along.

Thank you for this. It's nice to understand what my computers are working on!

What kind of data do you see in a completed work unit? Is it a full evolutionary story of a given system, or is it just a tiny piece of data that needs to be combined with many other work units in order for it to make any sense?

Restart the machine before adding the projekt again.

Yes. After having these problems, I removed the project, changed the hostname, rebooted, then re-attached the project. It still wouldn't generate a unique ID.

It is a fresh linux install, not a duplicated sd card

Changing the hostnames did not fix the problem

I haven't had an error on BHspin v2 in several months either, though I used to see a long runner about once every two weeks. Maybe updating the Linux version helped? But they were easy to spot and abort if they ran over 24 hours, though if you left your machines entirely unattended they could be a problem, as they could tie up all your cores eventually.

I have seen some tasks take a long time to finish, but I haven't had one yet that didn't finish eventually. I think the longest I've seen a task run is around 50 hours, but that was on a Raspberry Pi 2 core (~900MhZ).

(Are your numbers correct? I have a total credit of 6,194,456, almost all BHspin v2 and have crunched or have in progress 219 of them, whereas your total credit is about the same, at 5,573,667. Though my numbers may be a little low. I am not sure the status page is correct.)

When you view your task list, it only shows recent tasks. After some amount of time, they drop off the list. I know I receive 666.67 credits per task, so 5,600,000/666.67 = 8,400.

Hello to you as well Gunnar!

I've read other threads on here regarding issues with the BHSpin tasks as well. But, I've crunched over 8,000 of them in the last few months without finding a single one that keeps restarting itself.

Although, I do check in with my machines a few times a week, so it wouldn't be a very big waste compared to others that don't babysit their machines like I do. :-)

Until they fix this you could unselect the UV tasks in your Universe@Home preferences. That's what I did.

Also, the server says there are 211 in progress. I hope they're not all in this same status. It's equivalent to a power virus at that point.
