Why are my systems not receiving new data?
If you had read the News forum & the "Universe@Home future" thread (or looked at the projects main page) then you'd have found out why there hasn't been any work for almost 4 months now.

I assume you mean the Website rather than the project tasks?
Yep.

Major problems with the web site- it appears the Security Certificate may have expired as my browser blocks me from accessing the site saying it is not secure, even though it's using a HTTPS connection.

Your connection isn't private

Dude you just have to be patient
We have been, and still are.
We were told that it would be down for around 3 months; it's now over 3 months.
There has been no further news, there is still no new work, so asking for an update is not an unreasonable request.

We've seen it with other BOINC projects, when the main person quits or retires the funding stops and the support is gone forcing the project to close up shop.
And if that is the case, it would be nice to be informed about it.
Since that hasn't happened, we're assuming that there is still working being done to continue the project.

It just would be nice to know, one way or the other.

Check the news forum about the project shutting down for 3 months in the "Universe@Home future" thread.

Someone from TAAT (I believe) said that Universe won't have any tasks available until MAY! ???? Is that correct?
If you had read the post here in the news thread "Universe@Home future" you would have seen that is the case.

Well, the Server Status shows 4 Tasks still in progress, but no systems with any work.
So i'm guessing everything's been done & returned & there's just a bit of database cleaning up to do.

Because there aren't any- as explained in the news section and on the main page.

13) Message boards : Number crunching : Universe@Home Computing Credits Not Updating (Message 6429)
Posted 21 Feb 2024 by Grant (SSSF)
Post:
I notice that U@H tasks completed/in progress and credits for finished tasks haven't been updating at all since some time in January.
Near the end of January Universe stopped producing new work.

Around the 27th the last Taks were sent out & there was no new work available at all from that time on.
Since then, i've received some resent Tasks, and i got credit for those completed Tasks.

If you're doing work, you'll get Credit for it. But as there is next to no work available, then you won't get any more Credit until more work is released (or you get really lucky and manage to pick up a couple of resends till all the work has been returned- which is 420 Tasks at the moment).

BTW: I received Universe WUs for the 4GB model over the last three days (1, 2 and 3 February 2024). Not many but it might be a sign that the 'dry spell' will not last forever.
In the news they announced no new work for 2-3 months. The only work coming out now are resends- it will take about 1.5-2 months for all existing work to finally be completed.
15) Message boards : Number crunching : Tasks not uploading? (Message 6414)
Posted 2 Feb 2024 by Grant (SSSF)
Post:
When I see tasks sitting with "Ready to report" status, I go to the Projects tab, click on that project, and then click on the "Update" button; that always seems to upload them right away, as they no longer show in the Tasks list after that.
Uploading & reporting Tasks are 2 different things.
Uploading is returning the result to the project.
Reporting is then letting the project know you have returned those results.

And i notice that the details for the message board topics aren't being updated- ie Last post for Number Crunching is showing as 6 days ago, this thread 24 days ago.

Still can't contact the Scheduler or upload work. And the web site & forums are still mind boggling sluggish.

Edit- uploads & Scheduler contact have just been restored.
Edit- and now the message board details are updating as well, and the sluggishness seems to have cleared up as well.
