You said you have it set for 10 days so you aren't even getting the work you are asking for. Well, I never said I want a full cache. Also, I'm not doing the project exclusively and the 10-days-setting is just a value based on years of experience to get enough work from every project I currently crunch on.

I got 56 in total, almost every time 7. According that I have an 8-core machine I assume you set the limit to 7 per core, can it be? I think that's still too much. What about 2, 3 or maximum 4 per core? Would fit better.

Well, estimated time here for my tasks is only 1 minute 28 seconds. Really less of course, and since I have a cache setting of 10 days it's logical that the manager downloaded so much. But the tasks surely won't last so short - I just started some of the new WUs and after some minutes I can estimate the run time around 3-4 hours for my host.

I forgot to set it back to no new work and left for some hours. Now I discovered that there were over 1.000 WUs downloaded for this host in the last hours... :-O This is too much of course, I will have to cancel the most of them. Please consider introducing a limit per core/per day or whatever.
6) Message boards : Number crunching : 130.000 points for a WU (Message 774) Posted 20 Nov 2015 by DoctorNow Post: Well, the credits seem to be very inconsistent and somehow unexplainable in the last times. I don't know how I could earn over 180k in the last days (and reach the next badge Mars in such a short time), probably there is a result with also 130.000 credits I've not yet found. Also, the credits for the ULX WUs don't fit. They're regularly around 17.000 seconds for my hosts which are similar in speed, yet the half of my just completed WUs is granted 1.333 credits and the others 333 credits, examples: WU 1 and Wu 2

Well, that is strange then, in the past quarter hour I tried everything from project reset to de/reattach but didn't get any work. Now I tried activating the test option again and suddenly it can be activated again. I don't know WTF this is, since Firefox sometimes also does strange things lately it could be that this was browser-related, who knows. But guess what I get now? Work... So I wonder if the app is still marked as test application from serverside.

Not getting any work here either, although the app is correctly chosen. If the app is still running as a test then I guess I know where the problem is, because I can't activate the test app option for some reason...
