I have a Nexus 7 2013 (Android 5.1.1) and 4 WUs have failed. Does the problem depend on Android version? Do you have the same problem on Android 4.x? I have a Nexus 7 2013 (Android 5.1.1) and 4 WUs have failed. Does the problem depend on Android version? Do you have the same problem on Android 4.x? You have 4 0.02 wu's in the database of your device. These wu's all fail, starting from v0.03 you have a chance to finish them and get credit. As posted earlier, new wu's will be available from monday on. Speaking for my Nexus only, I run Android 4.4 and native BOINC, I have no troubles with the v0.03 wu's. |

Yes, 6 wu's finished and validated. Can you tell me which Manager do you use and how much space on device is used by Universe@Home, please? Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

JagDoc (he posted his host links above) uses a client version that reports several peak space ressources used at runtime. p.s.: The BOINC guys probably have added attributes to the result table for this, but of course those are only filled when the client reports them. I never have seen those values in older projects, so it iseems to require both client and server from a fairly new version. p.p.s.: hmmm ... I proposed something like this long ago at CPDN in order to help developers set proper rsc_something_bound values, maybe someone picked it up :-) |

JagDoc (he posted his host links above) uses a client version that reports several peak space ressources used at runtime. I know, but on my mobile (Galaxy S3 with Cyjanogen mod) after 4 WU's application fill all space on my mobile and (because I have made loads of tests) I'm not sure if recent app not work properly... Currently I can't test application on my mobile... I just have to find any one for tests ;) Anyway, I use NativeBOINC written by matszpk ;) Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

On my Nexus 7 Tablet After completing one task I show it using only a small amount of "physical " storage: This project disk usage -- 1.52 MB While running one task MAXIMUM usage was: Virtual RAM: 1.80 MB and Physical RAM: 0.91 MB |

Yes, 6 wu's finished and validated. I use Native BOINC, which cannot be used under Android 5 and above. Device-space: I gave BOINC all the available disk space. Memory: use all available memory. I turn BOINC off when I use my Nexus as Navi or portable pdf-reader. All other times it runs three tasks, a mix of Milkiway, Einstein, Pogs and Universe http://universeathome.pl/universe/show_host_detail.php?hostid=11329 |

Hi, I would like to try this out on my android device as well, but can't find where to check "test application" That's easy. In your account setting go to preferences for this project. There is a checkbox for test applications. Check that and you're on board! |

Which versions of android are supported? 10 potential cores to throw at this.... I have tested on Android 4.4.4, also works on Android 5.0+ (with official BOINC client) should also work on all Android versions above 2.2... As far as I know, NativeBOINC doesn't report Android version to server and in result some non-pie version of application are send to 5.0+ systems which generate fails on this machines. Official BOINC client work fine. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

I have four quad core android tv boxes crunching away on this. Only 1 error since Oct-30 and I don't think that was related to the WUs, rather the system. They are all different models with different chips; 2 Ghz Amlogic S802, 1.7 Ghz Odroid U2 (or U3), 1.6 Ghz RK3188, 1.8 Ghz RK3288. All running NativeBOINC . Let me know if you need any info. |

Are there other users seeing their devices stuck crunching the same wu endless? All my wu's show no remaining time, ready for upload, progress of 0% and cannot be cancelled. Edit: It takes some time until they are really cancelled. |
