Sorry to hear this news, for me this was an interesting project to contribute to. Thanks for all your efforts up until this point (and for continuing maintenance in the near future). Here's to hoping for a successor, one way or another. Cheers! |

After not checking the message boards for a long time, I just happened to take a look today to see what was happening, only to discover more sad news. Universe@Home was always my favourite BOINC project, and one of the first I joined. The credits that were a multiple of the speed of an LP vinyl record always brought a smile to my face. Thanks for doing such a great job keeping the servers going, Krzysztof, and hope to encounter you again on another project. While the servers remain up and running my hosts will continue to check in with the project, in the hope of finding a phoenix has arisen. Rest in peace, Professor Belczynski. |

Thank you for all of your hard work. Let's hope that someone will pick up the project and continue the work. I was a member of SETI at home and I continue to see the loss of various programs that would benefit everyone with the knowledge gained from the projects. All the best to you. |

Thank you for the update and all the hard work you have done whilst running Universe@Home. This was one of my favourite projects and as the leading credit scorer in Australia, I can say that it will be missed by all of us who crunched down under. Peace to the world. Слава Україні!

Unfortunate news indeed. Thank you for the hard work you and the team have done for the project and I wish the best of luck and success with where ever life takes you in the future. I'm glad I got to participate and maybe we'll meet again in a new project.

Thank you for your dedication over the last 10 years. I've been crunching on Universe for probably that long also. So sad to see if ending. This is one of 4 Astronomy Projects I crunch on: Universe, MilkyWay, Asteroids and Einstein. I was truly hoping some one in the sponsoring University or another university would pick it up.
