Hi,
I have been experiencing some strange issues on the Android BOINC app.
Due to the Limitations of the app, there is no advanced view and the event log is very short. This is why I need your help.
The tasks are left to run with the screen on so the OS does not kill the apps, and they get stuck at either 95 percent or 99.995 percent and then nothing happens. These tasks are clogging the system and preventing other tasks from other projects to run. Sometimes the tasks revert back to 0 precent or 95 precent for no reason after 10+ hours of computation.
BOINC configuration:
Autostart, Show advanced preferences and controls, all 8 cores used for computation, CPU limit 100, max used storage space 100, ram limit 100, work unit buffer 2 days, additional buffer 4 days
It is frustrating that this bug has been present for more than 2 versions of BOINC. Current version 7.24.1,
Device OS Android 13, ARM64 Snapdragon 8 plus Gen 1 (power should be more than enough) Max 3.2Ghz, 8GB ram
