I have done some work as our main server stuck again today with no space left on disk. Temporary, all results files under moving to temporary storage. Also, stats files are recreated today. I will monitor server. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

Thank you for the update! My stats did indeed update as well. After restarting U@H on my machines I began to see incremental credit updates on Free-DC and Boincstats. Thanks again for taking the time to look into this ! |

Anyone else here do Gridcoin? Are you still seeing that your magnitude is 0? The Gridcoin client still shows "not whitelisted" for the universe@home project. I figured now that the stats were exporting again that would change to whitelisted. Anyone have any ideas? Or is there still some aspect of this project that is down causing the issue? toddnelson.net: Astro pics, solar stats, free software |

No the project still is grey-listed. Hasn't met the criteria yet for white-listing again. That is manually handled by the devs also. Not automatic. https://gridcoin.us/wiki/whitelist-process.html Also even after it meets the criteria, it's likely the devs will hold off until Krzysztof has traveled to the Uni and performed the necessary postponed maintenance the project desperately needs. Thanks for the info. Bummer, this is the time of year I crank up all of my nodes as I have a lot of excess power from my solar array. It sounds like by the time this gets sorted out I'll probably be ramping things down again for the summer. toddnelson.net: Astro pics, solar stats, free software |

Well, since white-listing is at the whim of the Gridcoin devs, and we have seen them re-white-list projects as soon as they come back in the past, if/when Universe is able to post 7 days out of the past 20 days of stats that are non ZCD days, it is possible they might white-list the project again. So far, only 2 days of credits out of the past 20 days. But I have seen negative comments also that they still consider Universe unstable until the storage issue and the stats publishing issue is fully resolved. That is unlikely to occur until the trip to Warsaw is made. A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Well, since white-listing is at the whim of the Gridcoin devs Listing is not at anyone's whim. There is a well-defined process, which you know, and which you linked to -- here it is again: https://gridcoin.us/wiki/whitelist-process.html#greylisting Please stop speaking for other people, in particular the Gridcoin developers, with whom you are not affiliated. You are speculating, and you are spreading your speculation as though it were fact. Privately messaging the project administrator as though you know better about a problem affecting their infrastructure is generally considered Bad Form, and advertising the fact you did only discloses that you want attention for being the first one in. I know you're very enthusiastic, judging by your prolific post count, but speaking without any connection to the source of your information on the Internet is the super-duper #1 BOAT way for people to get the wrong idea about everything. |

You don't read the Gridcoin Discord dev comments obviously. I do. And I am affiliated with the devs as a tester and have worked with them often. Barton26 is one of the devs and he posted his opinion that the project shouldn't be whitelisted immediately after they clear the ZCD requirement because of the project instability with the delayed server and switch maintenance. Still up to the main dev to actually code the white-listing of the project back in. He is the final arbiter. We shall see if that happens or not in five days. Good news, I noticed today that Universe@home is once again whitelisted. Crunch on! |

Where did you see that? The gridcoin client still shows ‘not whitelisted’ for me. toddnelson.net: Astro pics, solar stats, free software |

It isn't. If the wallet does not show it white-listed, it isn't. Still have several more days of reporting statistics before it gets to ≤ 7 of 20 days of ZCD days. https://www.boincstats.com/stats/158/project/detail/lastDays 6 more days by my count. It appears the project is whitelisted again and showing magnitude in the GRC client. toddnelson.net: Astro pics, solar stats, free software |

There is no credit. I have not received anything in ages, it seems. At least according to BOINCstats. |

There is no credit. Have you checked this option under your project prefs? Do you consent to exporting your data to BOINC statistics aggregation Web sites? |

There is no credit. I had not. I run multiple other projects and they all seem to have this on by default, so I was not aware such a setting even existed. I have now turned it on. We shall see how much of an effect it has. Thank you for the tip. |

There is no credit. Most Projects that have users from Europe require that setting to comply with their data gathering rules, it's not in the same place at every Project though so you have to search for it. |

Hi there. I notice that U@H tasks completed/in progress and credits for finished tasks haven't been updating at all since some time in January. Not just BOINCstats; here on the website as well. I don't mind not getting credits, but I do worry if the results aren't getting lost somehow. Someone might want to check this out if they can. |

I notice that U@H tasks completed/in progress and credits for finished tasks haven't been updating at all since some time in January.Near the end of January Universe stopped producing new work. Around the 27th the last Taks were sent out & there was no new work available at all from that time on. Since then, i've received some resent Tasks, and i got credit for those completed Tasks. If you're doing work, you'll get Credit for it. But as there is next to no work available, then you won't get any more Credit until more work is released (or you get really lucky and manage to pick up a couple of resends till all the work has been returned- which is 420 Tasks at the moment).
