Using the BOINC client, I go to add, and it comes back saying it cannot add Universe. it uses the URL: https://universeathome.pl/universe/

When trying to communicate, it comes back with:
Failed to add project
Please try again later.

Probably you have older version of Manager

Seems to be not uncommon, I've got two machines that run a few projects, but one has been unable to download data for tasks, and the other I can't add the project at all, tested on both the old boinc 7.14, and curent 7.16 without any luck. Unsure if maybe it's an issue with boinc itself, as World Community Grid tasks also seem to occasionally fail, but needless to say it's rather unfortunate that I can't put some decent equipment to use and help the project.
Restarting BOINC, the project, the computer has no effect, restarting tasks downloads over and over does not change anything and now the project is stuck in waiting for the scheduler for... 24h so I won't be able to check again for a while.

If anyone knows what might be up, would love to get some help figuring this oddity out.

After the mention of "older" Boinc I updated to the latest version of a Ubuntu Boinc and still got a long pause "unable to add" project at this time.

I had the same problem. Removed all my projects. Uninstalled the BOINC app. Downloaded version 20. Connected fine then. See if it helps.
