Is it just me, or are U@H taking almost twice as long now? |

It varies. At the moment, I see 1 hour 35 minutes. Yesterday, they were either 34 minutes or 54 minutes (i9-10900F and Ubuntu 20.04.4). |

Universe task series displays a very uniform sinusoidal pattern with respect to task length throughout the series. A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Hello I am curious by nature and I would like to know if this oscillation is related to the properties of the data to be processed in the same series. Could we have some details about this phenomenon? Radioactive@home user |

https://universeathome.pl/universe/forum_thread.php?id=71&postid=816 Longer WU's allow us to check some models more deeply and also this change will unload server by giving us same data in less files... But this is quite an old thread, maybe things / reasons changed since then... And credits remained fixed regardless of task length. |

Expecting a bit of a drop in my RAC over the next few days- the start of this new series of Tasks has some very long running Tasks compared to the previous series longer running Tasks. Grant Darwin NT |

I have noticed that since the power problems over the last few days, and work running again, my task run times have gone from 30 to 40 minutes up to 1 to 1.5 hours. Same credits, work unit names and version. So has the type of work changed or is this just now the normal run times to expect? Conan |

Same credits, work unit names and version. Normal bevavior. The compute times are cyclic. Just have patience for the shorter running tasks in the series to come around again.
