Confirmed: https://universeathome.pl/universe/download/BHspin2_19_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu gets HTTP error 404. And more files are missing according to the other thread, "Couldn't Get Input Files". Edit: I see that this was already reported in the news thread as well. |

No issues here downloading. Can't tell if this is a Windows only problem as all posters have hidden their PC's. A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

My first one failed, the only one I have tried thus far, on Ubuntu 20.04.3. https://universeathome.pl/universe/results.php?hostid=612516 |

It's possible that when disks fails some files get corrupted on server. I have no way to test or even find it. It should by very limited number (we have replaced bad disk immediately with spares) but we have to wait few days to see the scale of disaster... The actual apps are failing to download with Permanent HTTP errors. See my post in news. I think Android might be okay, but my Internet was out this morning so I'll have to check and see if I got any more. It looked one Android completed though. |

My Android TV box tried and failed several tasks. Don't know what's going on. |

It might just be the current Android client, but I though it said it completed a task. At any rate, I checked the results and after figuring out which computers were the Droids, I see they failed too. It's too bad LHC@home doesn't have any Android work else I'd run that for while till Krys gets the file situation sorted out. I might be thinking of another project, but I was thinking some years back we had this issue and I believe the remedy was reloading all the clients... |

For Android, what projects are active and have tasks for Android currently? I was thinking Asteroids had an Android client but it appears they are down. |

I'm not so familiar with the default boinc server architecture, is the master url from the project account_....xml file plus "/download" the master download directory for such things? Then it seems like the worker / app files are missing in https://universeathome.pl/universe/download/ It opens as a file explorer in web browsers. The files in the root folder look like just a bunch of older task files... Screenshot: For comparison from Rosetta@home: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/download/ It would only affect people when boinc tries to (re-)download these files. I stopped task download in January, but I still have the files: |

Unless something in the server says there's a newer/different client, clients attached previous to the downtime most likely would still be able to run the WUs. I suspect if Krys reuploaded the clients (and verified they are being pointed to correctly) that would cure things. |

I just moved one old machine over from WCG and am getting the download temporarily failed, project backoff issue. Anyone having trouble downloading at the moment? |

Yea, something with the download directory changed... now the url replies with a blank page. |

It seems listing the root contents has been blocked now, subfolder listing is still possible, examples: https://universeathome.pl/universe/download/0/ https://universeathome.pl/universe/download/1/ https://universeathome.pl/universe/download/f/ https://universeathome.pl/universe/download/ff/ So task download would not be affected |
