Just had a failure for a "disk limit exceeded" Might be a bad bunch of tasks. My wingmen haven't finished it yet to verify. https://universeathome.pl/universe/workunit.php?wuid=45914108 A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Guess not. One wingman finished it with no issues. Could have been an issue where the previous task wasn't cleared from the slot. A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Guess not. One wingman finished it with no issues. Could have been an issue where the previous task wasn't cleared from the slot. Boinc wiki says error code 196 means: ERR_WU_USER_RULE -196 BOINC tries to send the client this result and fails because: result needs more disk/mem/speed than host has already sent a result for this WU no app_version available https://boinc.mundayweb.com/wiki/index.php?title=Error_code_-191_to_-200_explained Maybe that comes down to lack of free drive space I don't know but to me that makes sense. |

Just got another one. https://universeathome.pl/universe/result.php?resultid=103412303 I have no limit on disk space other than leave 42GB free. The Manager Disk tab shows 12GB in use but 21GB available for use. I think the project admins set a wrong value for expected disk space usage for the task and it exceeded the set task parameters. Task only used peak 390MB of disk space. A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
