Ekhm, And? People are trying to fix an issue while on the other hand you say there is nothing wrong with the server when literally everyone has had the Project has 0 tasks message. |

I have 922 android tasks done, pass rate is 97.7223%, computation error is less than 1%... And I just suggest, that this topic is about Android, not about ARM... |

I have 922 android tasks done, pass rate is 97.7223%, computation error is less than 1%... More denial. The output of the project has been cut in half. https://stats3.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=proj&proj=uni Clients should never, ever, ever get 'Project as 0 tasks' if there are actual tasks. The server has an issue and you refuse to even accept it. |

As soon as I upgraded an android 8 tablet to android 9 all work from universe ceased. So is there any word on when Android 9 devices will be supported Krystof? Or is there some other reason? This is the device in question. https://universeathome.pl/universe/show_host_detail.php?hostid=518148 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers |

Same here, Phone updated itself to 9.0 and work has ceased. Pete |

I have no idea what happend. Do you use the original BOINC Manager for Android? Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

I'm using the Beta Version of Android Boinc. Funny thing is, Android 9.0 completed the tasks that were being run when my phone upgraded itself and they all validated. If all else fails I could do a factory reset to go back to Android 8.0 as most Boinc projects don't support Android 9.0 Pete |

Yea same here the latest boinc beta version. Actually exactly same story as Pete's. After the android 9 upgrade boinc continued crunching the rest of it's universe work queue but it never again received new work. |

Hmm, it looks like it is manager problem, or Android API... |

Hmm, it looks like it is manager problem, or Android API... or server-side simply not handing out work to 64 bit arm devices running android? |

I know I'm well over a month late but any news on this front? I've got 16 cores of Snapdragon 845 and 8 snapdragon 670s chomping at the chance to crunch here. This is amazingly frustrating that every project I have an interest in has remained silent when I bring up Android crunching, so hopefully this will be different. I'm running 7.16.3 beta and Android 9. I get that arm processors are mostly inferior to x86, but hey, every little bit helps. I'll throw my Razor phone 2 up here just to see what happens. So far, Yoyo has thrown me a ton of computation errors and I've gotten 0 answers as to why. When Asteroids hits 25000000 I think I'll be bringing my 100 plus x86 cores over here. At least there is some sort of communication going on, and that above all else is important to me. |

Unfortunately very few Boinc projects support Android 9.0, Einstein, WUProp and Goofyx are the only ones I can find that do. It's possible that others do support it, WCG being one of them but there are no Android tasks to run right now. It looks like some projects don't even support Android 7 or Android 8 which have been around for quite some time. Pete |

There's not much for android any more now that WCG/Zike has completed. Yoyo also works for Android 9. |

Yoyo also works for Android 9. Whoops, I saw it downloaded some work and didn't check further. All fail for me too. |

Yeah I've had some projects work on my Nexus 7 but not Nexus 9 in years past. |
