Both my Raspberry Pi's have been unable to get new work for the last couple of days: 12-Jul-2018 17:16:22 [Universe@Home] Requesting new tasks for CPU 12-Jul-2018 17:16:24 [Universe@Home] Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 12-Jul-2018 17:16:24 [Universe@Home] No tasks sent 12-Jul-2018 17:16:24 [Universe@Home] No tasks are available for Universe BHspin v2 12-Jul-2018 17:16:24 [Universe@Home] No tasks are available for Universe Ultraviolet reionization According to the server status page there is plenty of work available. Last time I managed to get work was on July 10. Were any changes made on the server that prevent me from getting new work ? Thanks, Tom |

Odroid XU4 fan unfortunately died some time ago. I will mount another one tomorrow to make compilation on it. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

Thank you so much. You can repair the fan very easy. Remove the sticker on the back of the fan and put some thin oil on the bearing and replace the sticker. I make this alway with my fans.... |

No recent work for my Raspberry Pi either--nothing since 9 July. The project's "Applications" page shows a new Universe BHspin v2 version (0.06) for Linux running on 64-bit ARM; that was created on 10 July 2018. Wasn't the old version 0.01? This is just a guess, but maybe we have to wait for this new version of the app it to be downloaded to our Raspberry Pis. An explanation from the project team would be helpful and appreciated. |

No recent work for my Raspberry Pi either--nothing since 9 July. This is version for 64bit Raspbian running (i.e.) on Odroid C2. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

Just to clarify, will there be a compilation for the Raspberry Pi 32-bit ARM? Thank you for your reply. |

Just to clarify, will there be a compilation for the Raspberry Pi 32-bit ARM? The compilation will made for Raspbian ARM 32. My RaspberryPi B died years ago, so I will compile it and test on Odroid. Has anyone given SUSE 64 bit OS for Raspberry Pi 3/3+ a crack?. https://betanews.com/2016/11/22/64-bit-os-for-raspberry-pi/ Although i'm not sure I like the idea of a subscription model? |

Updated ARM 32bit app added for BHSpin2 and QuarkStars. Can you confirm if it works on your computers correctly, please? Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

Funny. I didn't check app info page... A20-OLinuXino is in real arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf... Anyway... C2 (64bit), XU4 nor X2 haven't downloaded any WU... It looks like rest of WU's are in pairs with other architectures right now... Edit: Ok, all Odroids get new tasks, will see execution times and results soon :) Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

My pi 3's now have plenty of work and so far seem to be crunching well. Can you write established time for WU, please? There what I have: Odroid C2: BHspin v2 about 18 hours for WU Neutron Star and Black Hole formation about 4h Odroid X2: BHspin v2 about 10h Odroid XU4 - there is 4 faster and 4 slower cores BH2 about 5h NSBH about 5h Can't check which WU is on which core... Real completion time I will publish tomorrow. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

No work units downloaded for my Raspberry Pi Model 1 B+. Is this supposed to occur automatically or do I have to do something? I tried the terminal command boinccmd --project https://universeathome.pl/universe updatebut no work units downloaded. Is this new compilation compatible with an old Pi? |

Looks good. Odroid-XU4, -HC1 and -MC1 got work and finished some wu without error. But one thing with Odroid-C2: The BHSpin2_6 app (64bit) is very slow. I ran test on C2 outside Boinc with same param.in file (not finished). From the log.txt: With BHspin2_6: 00:39:20 00:39:20 making checkpoint: j: 1000; iidd: 273285 With BHspin2_7: 00:14:18 00:14:18 making checkpoint: j: 1000; iidd: 273285 The 64bit app needs more than 2x time to finish. |

If somebody on ARM machines get errors "version `GLIBC_2.15' not found" then try "apt-get install libstdc++6". JagDoc, do you think that it will be good try to use 32bit application on 64bit ARM systems? It will probably require to install 32bit libraries...
