Aurore Send message Joined: 20 Feb 18 Posts: 2 Credit: 64,133 RAC: 0	Message 2715 - Posted: 13 Mar 2018, 12:47:30 UTC hi there, a bit new to this but experiencing an odd problem only with universe@home [not with other projects] once a task is completed, it fails to upload. it gets somewhere between 75 and 97% uploaded and just stops. i have this happening on both my computers, and again it is not happening with the other projects i am involved with. don't know enough about what happens under the hood to know what is going wrong, i only know that my tasks just don't get sent once completed :P i cannot provide a screenshot here, but there's a lot of them that just retry endlessly and fail shortly before completing their upload- and oddly enough, some reached 100% upload status and are still not uploaded. That type of thing is often seen on some projects, but I don't recall seeing it here on Universe. Maybe it is a local network problem? Do you have the latest drivers for your network adapter? If it is a wireless router, try a reboot of the router, or try a wired connection if possible. Also enabling/disabling flow control on your adapter might help. Some (not many) do upload but most of the time the log shows a transient HTTP error. This has been occurring for the last 10 days or so. There is no problem downloading new WUs or reporting results. I just cancel the upload today, because all workunits are behind the deadline. After canceling the upload, those units were ready to report. Wondering... OK... Update project and voila: those workunits that were not validated by now from other (it was only one workunit) get granted .... The other eight workunits were "too late for validation".. It was only certain ones, usually bigger file sizes (25 - 30 Mb). I added the <http_1_0>1</http_1_0> to my cc_config as mentioned in https://universeathome.pl/universe/forum_thread.php?id=269&sort_style=&start=20 restarted BOINC and they uploaded fine.
