wu increasing time remaining

I have a wu that has been running 4 days with an estimated remaining of 30 days. The funny thing is in the boinc task list I can see the elapsed time is increasing but so is the estimated time remaining. Should I abort this wu? Dennis |

The same issue. 24 days remaining - and this is for my 6-core i7 CPU + 32 GB RAM! Are You serious? :)  |

 ...and after 2minutes  Estimation time has been increased continuously during the computation. The progress percentage does not change. |

Just abort them they've hung. If any task hasn't progressed in at most 30 - 40 mins it's hung, The only good thing about these badly behaving tasks is they only come in small batches. Not much comfort I know but all you can do is keep an eye on them. I had 20+ of them over a 2 day period but since then things have been running well.
