Hi. My main problem is that on my tablet (a Samsung galaxy tab s2 running Android 7) each and every workunit ends in a computation error and no credits. This only happens with universe@home on the tablet but not with any other project or on my other devices (a galaxy s6 running Android 7 and a MacBook pro running Ubuntu 16.04). So what's going on, and what can I do about it? The other problem is that sometimes I get a few WUs that refuse to upload. They finish their processing, then they start over and do it all again. And again. And again. And... What is wrong with those? |

The only application that work for me under Linux is Universe BHspin v2. All the others fail. |

I crunch with a lot of single board computers (same ARM chips as a lot of android phones and tablets). 3 of my 16 varieties of single board computers have this issue as well. I've tried multiple Linux OS's and also Android with no luck. I haven't been able to figure it out and I got sick of fiddling with it, so I ended up moving those 3 to TN-Grid. I'm sure there's a solution, but I'm not quite bright enough to figure it out. I'll keep an eye on this thread in case someone with more knowledge comes along. |

I have currently 2 Odroids (third unfortunately are down now) and on both of them Universe works fine... Maybe it is operating system issue? (in case of ARM devices not based on Android?). About Android - I'm aware about problems with A7, the problem is that application I have compiled under old libraries and I should prepare new environment for new compilations but I just have struggles in finding time for this :( Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |
