In Debian GNU/Linux 7.11 x64 non-GUI box,

one of the setting in "/etc/boinc-client/global_prefs_override.xml" is

<cpu_usage_limit>50.000000</cpu_usage_limit>

using HTOP command

the BHspin2_2 program is still using 100% of the CPU.

I need to reduce CPU usage since there are messages like:
"Core temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled ..."

other BOINC applications like Asteriods, LHC, MilkyWay, SETI follow the setting.

fyi...

In Windows PCs, so far no problem...
