pcDuino8uno - My cores are disappearing?! Universe@Home

It's running ubuntu 14.04. Here are the specs of the machine: http://www.linksprite.com/pcduino8-uno/ Here is the host data: http://universeathome.pl/universe/show_host_detail.php?hostid=81650 The CPU is an AllWinner H8 8-Core Cortex-A7. Long story short, BOINC initially recognized all 8 cores. Then it only recognized 6. Now it's only recognizing 4. Has anyone experienced this before? Or memory/storage/etc limits hit by chance? I adjusted my memory usage up to the maximum. I'm not sure if this corresponded with the decrease from 8 cores to 6 cores or not. I don't think its a Boinc issue, if you did not install a heatsink or fan on the processor it will shut down 2 cores when it gets too hot, 2 more if it still getting hot, and will run 4 for extended periods of time no problem. After installing the heatsinks it would run all 8 cores for about 5 mins before shutting 4 cores down, so I went to the other extreme and hand built a case and added a 70mm fan it may have been overkill but all 8 cores are running now.
