I have a pleasure to announce that the first article of the Universe@home project is finished! It appeared today on the http://arXiv.org, which is the official place for posting scientific articles. The writing can be found here: http://arxiv.org/pdf/1503.08745. On behalf of the team I would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in the Universe@home test project. We hope that this is only the beginning and you will still help us in comprehending the Universe. Shortly, I will provide you with a summary of the work written in the less formal language but meanwhile I encourage you to take a look. Our project is mentioned there a few times. Very great news. I've tried to read it (i even understood a little bit), but half an hour later, i found myself googling for my polish ex GFs (kocham polske!)...erm.. I'm really looking forward to your simplified summary, Grzegorz :-) "I should bring one important point to the attention of the authors and that is, the world is not the United States..." |
