I have four applications listed as exclusive_app in cc_config.xml. This works well for other projects, but QuarkStars ignores it and continues anyway.

This is Gentoo Linux with kernel 4.9.16-gentoo and boinc-7.6.33-r3.

Could you post your cc_config. I haven't tried to exclude an app in cc_config but the issue you're describing seems to be related to Boinc Manager and not really a project/app issue.

Just to make sure, you've reread cc_config.xml after making any changes?

Yes, I have reread the config files, which I haven't changed for several months.

As I said, all the other projects I run do respect the exclusive_app declaration.

I'd like to attach a screen shot of /usr/bin/top showing QuarkStars running together with multiple instances of cc1, but I can't see how to do that. I can't see how to preserve the spacing in the .xml file either - sorry.

What? Today QuarkStars is behaving properly. I haven't made any changes, so why does it do the right thing one day but not the next?
