Err, that's not quite true. The software for Radeons can interpret the CUDA code with an astonishingly high level of accuracy, BUT not 100%.

It looks promising though. I'm not up to speed, but it seemed to be that AMD was in with the OpenCL (and always supposedly does it better than nVidia. But it appears they are backporting the v2.0 instead of straight out supporting it... I don't quite understand that part I admit...

hip c++ will we think be simpler than open CL then as a higher level code port...
