I understand your point of view, but have to notice, that those tasks are slowly go forward and it is not happens with new series.
So, I strongly suspect that it is happens because those tasks was send with very strict platforms restrictions.
But, as I says, if you check links from previous posts in this topic then you can find that some of the WU's are finished now.

I have had new units on the same platform that have been getting sent out/validated so the platform restriction is a non-issue. Android ARM PIE and regular Intel CPUs in Linux. Its not like we are all on some unique platform where there are zero other members to validate our work. There is a period in August where they just got lost by the server.

In August (and part of September) we had some more combinations od platforms and systems used.
As I says, I'm really checking this as it is unusual situation on server but honestly, most standard answers doesn't work on our server as we had combination on reliable hosts, different systems and platforms for this series of tasks...
This will not happened in future and most of this delayed tasks will solve in future.

And what about this one :

http://universeathome.pl/universe/workunit.php?wuid=7344825

Correctly sent back
Error while someone else tried to download it
Another task was created but ... not sent yet

And this one is from October.

Platform AMD APU/Windows OS (I don't think it's so uncommon)

I have some Unsent tasks from November, in addition to August and September. OK, technically they are in the past, but only by one day.

I have 16 with unsent partners from between Aug 6 and Oct 8. I think it might have gone down by 1 or 2 recently.

About a week ago, I had 75 pending validation with unsent partners between early August and the end of October. Now, it is down to 59, so progress is definitely being made.

Whoa, Noticed credit for 2 WUs. Looks like the remaining other 6 from August have all been assigned to at least 1 wingman.

My five remaining tasks (stretching back to August) have also all been assigned to wingmen, all of them at roughly the same time earlier today. Has someone tipped some Draino into the server?

All my 4 tasks from August were assigned to other hosts earlier today.
Were changes made server side or is this just a coincidence ?

Basically, I noticed that the tasks are "last in queue", so when server have no new tasks then serve old ones to you.

To bad Work Units are not distributed on an Age basis using original generation date or date of regeneration for a resend required work unit.

Basically a First In - First out Que.

If the Project Admin wanted to prioritize one application's work units over another he could still do that as well.

Bill F

P.S. I am now down to 9 work units with dates from Aug, Sep or Oct. so 38 have cleared since mid November.
In October 1969 I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
There was no expiration date.
