Got this same problem, as of about a day ago, new WUs stopped coming through.

Same here. Suddenly, machines that have already processed many Universe@Home WU's until now cannot get any more work.

Just checked and still have the same status. Not getting any work units.

My all machines have full buffers now, sometimes needs manually update (few times) because again server is under pressure.
But definitely I see more units in progress.

I have some (a lot of) WU waiting for validation...
But the second (the third,...) task of the WU is/are with the "not send" status on server!
the oldest is from the 5 Aug WU 6354705 (BHs V2) youngest from today WU 6818697 (BHs V2)

I just checked today and the laptops that did not have work units before finally started getting them. For some reason the original server that I had posted about still have not received work units.

I think one of two possibilities:

1) Server Status page is broken. It is showing that tasks are available, when in reality, there are none.

or

2) A homogeneous redundancy problem I have seen in the past at other projects. All the tasks available are for one particular rare combination of OS and CPU type that no one but the admin and a few others are running. And no tasks available for most of the users who have more common combinations of OS and CPU type.

For what it is worth, I have 1 linux machine (64 bit linux mint), 8 windows machines (Win 7 64 and win 10 64), and 11 Macs (latest OS). All are 64 bit intel CPUs. None are getting any tasks. All are being told none available.

Something is definitely wrong. The last two Ultraviolet reionization tasks I received were sent to my wingman a week earlier ! They must have been 'waiting' to be sent for over a week while my computers were screaming for new work.

Definately there is HR problem...
But, I see more then 50k tasks in progress which means, that most hosts receive tasks, like my two Linux64, and two (different) Odroids.
I have also made short test with my home Win7-64 machine which gets tasks also.
Currently is no MacOS compilation for new applications but I think I need to do it - and give more stress to HR...

There is another problem as well, about half of tasks is created for "reliable hosts" which means that only hosts with min. 10 consecutive correct tasks done gets new jobs.

I have had several results that where "cancelled by server" listed as error on my results page. This means that reliable hosts lose that status while no error occured.
If the validation process is solid there is no real need for the use of reiiable hosts.

For analysing purpose we need whole batch of results in particular series because even if we have 95% of the serie computed we still need to wait for last 5% to start analysis...
In some WU's is happened that particular WU isn't computed by first host in time, then it going to second one where happened same and sometimes for few WU's we need to wait months... This is a reason why we had starting to use reliable hosts for some of batches (in fact, every 4th batch now base on reliable hosts) including all UV tasks (as they are short).

This is clearly not working. Because if it did it would be impossible to have results waiting for validation because the partner result is not yet send out. You have only to check my results page to see I have results in that status for more then 4 weeks. It is possible that your number of users is to low to have this police to work correctly.

Edit: May I suggest that you give resends (results with -2 and higher) priority when sending out work above -0 and -1 results.

Edit2: Also give resends a shorter return deadline.

Symantec has killed my Universe Ultraviolet reionization 0.02 windows_intelx86 .
I have given permission now, but the # of Consecutive valid tasks is again 0. So I won't geht new UV Tasks..
