I've set up a HP Proliant DL850 with quad E7-4870's (80 c/t's). I've googled and can't seem to find any info on how much RAM is required for each c/t. I'm running 64 gb. I'm only able to run 24-26 tasks at a time and can't figure out why. The only thing left is the possibility of insufficient RAM. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I'm missing something else? |

I think, it is a default server limit for quantity tasks per host. It will increase when your computer send some computed results back to the server. Just let me know if problem still exists after couple of hours. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

Actually I figured out that if I fired up Collatz Conjecture Universe suddenly decided to start all cores. I've had to do this on my other DL580 also. After starting Collatz I then suspend it and Universe runs on all cores like a dream. Doesn't make any sense, but it works! |

How often are Top Computer stats updated? From the current stats I should be #1 and #2 with my two DL580's. They're running close to 300k PPD (170/130 estimated split). But surely there are others out there posting as much or more. |

RAC is several weeks so you'll need some time to get up there. |
