Hello Krzysztof,
When a Universe xray task finishes on my Win7 m/c, boinc stops all tasks from other projects - even gpu - and this log-message appears. This is especially unfortunate for other tasks which can't restart. I have only seen this happen with Universe xray task.
It could be something to do with the time taken to process upload files. Can one change boinc's 'heartbeat' timeout parameter from 30 seconds to - let's say - 2 minutes ??

I can't do anything, the 30s is set in manager, not on server.

I've seen this error message before in past years.

Check, just for fun, windows indexer and anti virus (as explained here http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=9870&postid=58980#58980), just to be sure.

@cykodennis
Thanx for the tip. Boinc program-data is not indexed and is excluded from security essentials.
I've watched it happen in windows taskmgr - boinc grabs the universe core while boinc tasks in the other cores drop to 0%. After a period of time, the event log says the universe task has finished and transmissions start. The other boinc tasks also attempt to start after their error message.
Maybe it's my version of boinc (7.4.27) which has an unfortunate interraction with universe ?

I've had the error with an older version of a Gerasim@home application. It was really annoying and i "fixed" it by using BOINC 7.0.28 instead of an actual version.
I had it also while doing some LINUX-WINE experiments with an windows only application. I honestly have to say, that i don't really understand whats this error all about.
Some say it has to do with uploads, some say it is something checkpointing related.

However, obviously it won't be really important with the new application.
