When the box is not ticked it appears that Universe@Home is going to use the name immediately below it as your Real Name, which of course is your account name. This discouraged me from ticking the box, since I did not want my real name as my Account Name. Only when I came to this thread did I realise that ticking the box causes a new field to display. IMHO it would be better if the Real Name field was greyed (disabled), not hidden, when the tick box is unticked. If the box is later unticked, then the Real Name field should be cleared and greyed again. |
