Really, creating applicationa for all types of ARM computers will be not be possible without support from JagDoc :)

But Odroid XU4 has also GPU with OpenCL support. It would be good to give it something to crunch too :)

We are preparing GPU application for OpenCL 1.1 or later for AMD Radeon HD 7000 (GCN 1.0) and later graphics cards.

Nvidia cards also support OpenCL 1.1, so your code may also work there. Did you try this already, or at least have plans to do so?

Will the gpu app need double precision?

If so, then the mainstream gaming Nvidias won't be that ideal.

BTW, I've learned that the AMD APU's are also DP capable, they crunch MilkyWay wu's.

All AMD GPU's since GCN are capable of DP. Not much, but still. Strongest DP chips are Tahiti an Hawaii (only professional full).

When wil these wu's be available?

The price for the RX470 should go down in the next weeks, so maybe i will replace one of my dvices then.

Yeah it will suck for all NV cards except Titan OG/Black. It'd be best to use any NV card elsewhere. But the 1st version will be AMD only.

It's because AMD offer better support for small developers, and is easier to start with...
Also, OpenCL is in fact industry standard and AMD have better support for it.

with the 7950 you have 717 GFlops DP Performance
with the 6950 you have 563

but with the RX470 you get only 365 GFlops DP Performance

AMD has also reduced the DP Performance by the mainstream Cards.

I will try to publish tomorrow some comparison data for AMD 7850 and RX 480 cards to CPU in computing...

Thank you, krzyszp for any informations for Dear volunteers. However, it is small likelihood that any a simple testing application will be available tomorrow. I need more time to test main routines on GPU and same engine's mechanism before publishing any a testing application. Ofcourse, I am doing anything to finish quickly as it is possible.

I have enabled a 280x (7970) to grab any GPU work once it becomes available.
