O, there is two files: http://universeathome.pl/universe/a/BHspin2 http://universeathome.pl/universe/a/app_info.xml Download them and put i project folder on the machine which doesn't receive work (on my system it is /var/lib/boinc-client/projects/univeseathome.pl_universe/). Then restart boinc-client. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

Have you check that both files has "boinc" as it owner? Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

I think this can be a problem, as application is compiled on 32 bit system on RaspberyPi... I have not received any new tasks on my Raspberry Pi's for three days now. All I got were a couple of resends. Most of the time I get: 07-Aug-2016 10:26:41 [Universe@Home] Requesting new tasks for CPU 07-Aug-2016 10:26:43 [Universe@Home] Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 07-Aug-2016 10:26:43 [Universe@Home] No tasks sent 07-Aug-2016 10:26:43 [Universe@Home] No tasks are available for Universe BHspin Both my Raspberry Pi's are running stock Boinc 7.4.23 and have an uptime of over 150 days. They have been running Universe@Home without any problems for all this time (and more). Why am I not receiving any new tasks anymore ? Something must have changes server side and as my Pi's are 32-bit I don't think a 64-bit application built on Odroid will solve time problem. Tom |

As an addition to my previous message: I now got some new work. I enabled BHspin v2 in my preferences (only BHspin was enabled). I don't understand why this solved the problem as the setting for: If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? was set to 'yes'. Why did I not receive work from this 'other application' and did I need to select BHspin v2 explicitely ? Tom |

Have you check that both files has "boinc" as it owner? Yes, owner is boinc. Have deleted the app_info.xml on this host. After boinc restart i got old BHspin WUs. Now testet it again with other C2 und copied the missing jobbh2_1.0.xml from XU4 into projektfolder. Now i got this message: 6 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:25:00 Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform 37 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:25:03 Nachricht vom Server: Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of Universe X-ray sources for Android. 38 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:42 update requested by user 39 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:44 Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. 40 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:44 Requesting new tasks for CPU 41 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:46 Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 42 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:46 No tasks sent 43 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:57 Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 44 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:57 Requesting new tasks for CPU 45 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:58 Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 46 Universe@Home 07.08.2016 10:26:58 No tasks sent http://universeathome.pl/universe/show_host_detail.php?hostid=34481 |

I found the problem... Client in Odroid C2 doesn't report "CPU type" to the server and it can't assign any platform to it... Have a look in your computers on account and compare the CPU type in both models of Odroid. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

Why does it work with BHspin WUs and not with BHspin2? What can i do to solve this problem. is this a bug in Boinc 7.6.31? |

Old BHspin doesn't use CPU type because don't use Homogoneus redundancy... Also, I just had installed on second memory card (thx JagDoc) Armbian and there is exactly the same problem (probably both systems are based on same Debian images and/or uses same packages wih BOINC client). I'm going to investigate this more deeply... Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

With Android and Boinc 7.4.41 is cpu type for C2 reported correct: I have added aarch64-android-linux-gnu platform and copied Android app for it... We will see if this works with Android on Odroid C2. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

I have recompiled boinc client on Odroid C2 from sources, but the problem with CPU type still exists. I need to have a look in client sources where the variable is set (or from is readed). Edit: I have checked three different Debian based distros on Odroid C2 and no any one from the list didn't report cpu vendor nor model name to system... I have reported this on hardkernel forum and I will wait for solution... Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

I have recompiled boinc client on Odroid C2 from sources, but the problem with CPU type still exists. Can it be that the problem comes from linux? With different versions cat /proc/cpuinfo shows different infos. With the old image (without any update/upgrade) http://odroid.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=en:c2_ubuntu_release_note_v1.1 i get this output: root@odroid64:/home/odroid# cat /proc/cpuinfo Processor : AArch64 Processor rev 4 (aarch64) processor : 0 processor : 1 processor : 2 processor : 3 Features : fp asimd crc32 CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: AArch64 CPU variant : 0x0 CPU part : 0xd03 CPU revision : 4 Hardware : ODROID-C2 Revision : 020b With the new image (all update/upgrade done) http://odroid.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=en:c2_ubuntu_release_note_v1.2 i get this output: root@odroidc231:/home/odroid# cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 BogoMIPS : 2.00 Features : fp asimd crc32 CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: 8 CPU variant : 0x0 CPU part : 0xd03 CPU revision : 4 processor : 1 BogoMIPS : 2.00 Features : fp asimd crc32 CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: 8 CPU variant : 0x0 CPU part : 0xd03 CPU revision : 4 processor : 2 BogoMIPS : 2.00 Features : fp asimd crc32 CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: 8 CPU variant : 0x0 CPU part : 0xd03 CPU revision : 4 processor : 3 BogoMIPS : 2.00 Features : fp asimd crc32 CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: 8 CPU variant : 0x0 CPU part : 0xd03 CPU revision : 4 Hardware : ODROID-C2 Revision : 020b |
