Have now run out of work to process and am not getting any new tasks. Server status seems to indicate that here is work to be sent but nothing is getting delivered. |

I'm sorry to hijack this rather old thread, but it just fits to my problem: I'm using a Linux and a Windows machine for crunching. My linux rig is happily crunching along, processing all those new BHspin 0.05 tasks. My windows machine, however, does not receive any workunits at all. I checked my application preferences and everything except for the Android application is selected. I tried to reset the project but I'm still not getting any WUs on my Windows machine. Is there something wrong with my account/machine or is this a general problem? |

I'm afraid it's something with you machine. Did you try to detach and re-attach this machine again? Also, what size of work buffer did you set for it? Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |

I'm using a 2+1 buffer on all of my machines, so that should not be the problem. Also, since this morning my Linux machine doesn't receive any new WUs either... That's odd. |

[error] No close tag in scheduler response. What's that about? |

[error] No close tag in scheduler response. No work unit. When I request work in BOINC your server (or BOINC) responds with that message. Thanks. This is the same problem as the one described here - or at least related I guess. After receiving the "can't parse" message on the client, check the file sched_reply_universeathome.pl_universe.xml and see if it looks more like an error page rather than like a reply from the scheduler. |

As of approximately two nights ago, my system is no longer able to receive work consistently despite work showing as available on the Server Status page. With most requests, there is the response "Universe@Home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks". Every now and again a few tasks will come through. The same system receives tasks okay from other projects. |

My system has been receiving ULX work today on a consistent basis. So far, no new BHSpin work has been downloaded. |

Got two machines not getting any work, Haf2 which was doing work but was disconnected and reconnected this morning, and; Blackhawk 1 which was connected 12 hours ago and still hasn't received the initial downloads. Four other machines running fine. what's up? Server says there is plenty of work available. |

Might be this: Transitioner backlog (hours) 17.72 |

Might be this: Yes, this is a problem. It also causes the validator to ignore WUs with 2 finished results that would be ready for validation. |

I have only received 8 work units across 4 computers since the 18th of Dec. When I get a work unit then I process it, but it is no longer a main project, I have plenty of other projects running and they have work available. Backlog is now almost 20 hours. Conan |

Now some work units are available. Backlog was 20hours because I have done some very intensive tasks on database. Krzysztof 'krzyszp' Piszczek Member of Radioactive@Home team My Patreon profile Universe@Home on YT |
