Posted 5 Aug 2019 by additude Post: I appreciate the "tip" and I tried separately on each of the machines to suspend other project (TN-Grid) then reset Universe.... then reboot, then update universe, and it was having none of it... I reset both Universe and TN and then removed them from boinc. I rebooted. I reattached to Universe. Not to TN-Grid. The first message is "No Tasks Sent", the next messages are "No Tasks Available".... I wish it would just get fixed. |

Posted 5 Aug 2019 by additude Post: I have had my buffers set at +5 +1 indefinitely on all machines all using the same global_prefs_override.xml file. I have 3 machines that can't get WU's. I am going to try to reset the project next and see if that helps. |

Posted 4 Aug 2019 by additude Post: The three machines that I am NOT receiving WU's for have: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS [4.9.185-44|libc 2.27 (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.27-3ubuntu1)] Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS [4.9.185-44|libc 2.27 (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.27-3ubuntu1)] Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS [4.4.143|libc 2.27 (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.27-3ubuntu1)] The other machines that are receiving WU's are: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS [4.14.120-160|libc 2.27 (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.27-3ubuntu1)] 4.4.143 4.14.5-92 It does seem that it's something random..... I almost want to say version issues, but I have one machine with 4.4.14 that receives WU's and one with the same version that doesn't receive.... Those two are the same manufacturer different models. |

Posted 3 Aug 2019 by additude Post: You need to have proper versions of the libraries installed in your system: CXXABI_1.3.9 libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' I searched for this but I couldn't find it. I have 3 Ubuntu machines that have been updated but still no WU's..... |

I have a machine that has 48 tasks consistently for weeks and BOINC Reports that "computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress" when it requests new tasks. The only time I get a task is when I report a task. Are there different task restriction criteria's? https://universeathome.pl/universe/results.php?hostid=517557 I checked another machine and it has 64 tasks in progress and is receiving the same warning that it has reached a limit on tasks in progress so I believe for me that means it's a local BOINC scheduler issue not a project server issue. |

Those types of usernames are typically "assigned" names in the admin setup along with a tier of different level monitors, etc. Maybe something else is going on... |
