21) Message boards : Number crunching : New Hosts Not Receiving a Unique ID (Message 2285) Posted 5 Jul 2017 by Aaron Post: I'm trying to add a few new computers but they're not getting their own Computer ID. Instead, the project thinks that they're all one of my existing machines, this one: http://universeathome.pl/universe/show_host_detail.php?hostid=81256. This results in abandoned tasks every time one of them communicates with the server. I removed and re-added the project to each host, both through the Manager and the command line, but it's still not working. I never had this problem with my 10 Raspberry Pis and they were all added to this project within minutes of each other. Please help!

Or memory/storage/etc limits hit by chance? I adjusted my memory usage up to the maximum. I'm not sure if this corresponded with the decrease from 8 cores to 6 cores or not. But, when I did notice that it was only using 6 cores, I manually ran a benchmark to try to get back up to 8. I think this was when it dropped to 4 cores.

My tasks (regardless of type of machine) usually return 666.67 credits each (BHSpin), with just a few odd 333.33's mixed in. The tasks returning half the credit take about the same time to run as the others. I don't fully understand it.
