Ah, I wasn't looking in the right place. I will remove the Universe@Home project from this machine and find some other work for it - the thing still hasn't had any new WCG work and has been 'uploading' the last 5 completed units for several days. Grrr.

Thanks for taking the time...

Hmm, thats odd because I had thought my Mac has been returning results for the last several weeks - I may have been misreading it but there was no problem raised when I added the project (unlike LHC which requires VirtualBox).

Folks,

I have all but abandoned WCG since work units seem to be in short supply and so I have transferred my efforts to this project. I have a couple of Raspberry Pi machines that run 24*7 and they seem busy. Also my windows machines are busy too - but I also have a Mac running OS-X 10.15 which is getting no work. I updated the BOINC version today to the latest version and it is still not getting any work.

Any thoughts?

Grant - thank you very much - the issue was resolved by, as you suggested, updating my BOINC client. I guess that I am used to software that flags up when it is out of date - I have had no such notification.

I have recently joined Universe@home and successfully managed to connect with two Raspberry pi machines that run 24/7 and have spare computing power - one is a RPi Zero W and the other is a RPi 4.

However, when I try to link a Windows laptop to the project I get the error: Failed to add project - Please try later. I am getting that error continually for a couple of days now.

Any thoughts? Is the project no longer issuing Windows work units?

Ian

PS - Machine is running Windows 10 Pro 64bit on a 2.53GHz Core i5 CPU with 8GB RAM.
