I have take a look to the hosts of alex from the post above and see he is running NB.
My post was only a information for him (and other) why get no work.

I love NB. It is 100 x better than orginal Boinc for android :)
I think many people would be very happy if NB will be updated and he continue his great work.

Indeed, NB is a wonderful BM, wort to be updated, but Mateusz Szpakowski does not answer mails since a long time. Looks like a intrested free programmer is required to do that job, according to the NB HP all sources are on Github. Should be a good starting pont.

And the official BOINC needs a graphic designer.

Krzysztof,
I tried to test the new compiled app. Unfortunately i do not get wu's.
Will you accept reservations for the next generated wu's? :)))

OK, so the best solution for the moment is to setup a different venue which excludes the uv wu's on machines, where they fail.
What i can see on my pc's: the ones, where the app fails, are older devices or simpler devices (Intel Atom, Core2 duo 8400) which do not have all the modern cpu features. Does the project test for these features?

Yes, the wu's validate now.

One of my pc's is a 32bit Windows. This pc should not get wu's, but it frequently does. Will this be corrected soon or do I need to setup different venues?

In addition to what Bowmore said, identical windows installations on different hardware behave different. One of these pc's is a Core2 Duo 8400 while my i7 3770 and my I5 5200 run fine. Seems that these wu's require a more specific filter.

Well, they fail on most systems with various errors.
It's working on two systems.

Until now not a single validated result and no credits.

My '333' wu's on i7 are wu's between 10.900 and 15.900 sec. Longer wu's are granted with higher credit.
This is how I see it.
No dedicated cruncher, all productive pc's.

The new version runs more than twice as long, they finish. First wu's are validated.
Did you ever think about aligning the credit for the new version?

First I want to point to the fact that Android wu's are now running fine and without problems. The only problem is, that whenever you add a bunch of wu's they are crunched faster than they are generatet.

Krzysztof, if you see any chance to clone yourself, please teach your clone first to generate Android wu's and then to help you developing the OpenCL app, would be glad to help you testing the app on all three platforms !

Kind regards

Alex

Sorry, cannot find a checkbox for testapps.
My settings simply say run all applications.

I also prefer OpenCL apps; if it runs as fine as on Einstein this would be one of the real great projects!

I have a lot of these wu's errored out immediate after start crunching them.
The errorcode is 1 (0x1) Unknown error number
Maybe it's of interest that all they ran on an AMD cpu.

Another issue with many Universe wu's is the estimated runtime of 2 seconds. This causes a lot of wu's to be downloaded which is a little bit unfair against other projects.

Few new test WU's are on server, should take no more than 10 hours to complete :)

Good news, progress bar shows 7.5% now, so definitely better than before!
