Solution: Download & install the latest Windows x64 version 7.20.2 from the main BOINC site. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php |

Posted 25 Oct 2022 by Dr Who Fan Post: It's great that the power is back for the time being, but it's not good that the results are no longer counted as a result. Best advice for you is cut your cache back to one or two days, then when the server has problems or project goes offline for a few days unexpectedly you still have a buffer to return tasks before they expire. Hopefully the project admin will be able to run a script to revalidate those expired tasks. I am sure you are not the only one that is affected by the power issues and should be credited for good work returned. |

Posted 25 Dec 2019 by Dr Who Fan Post: As stated in title Android tasks get to 100% then restart at 0%. This is my 2nd or 3rd Tasks it has happened to in a month now. Most recent task ...Which I aborted because it will not be done before deadline. https://universeathome.pl/universe/result.php?resultid=84953918 There is nothing in stderr output explaining what happened and nothing in the BOINC message log on the device either. Until this is fixed I have quit doing any Android tasks for the project. Why waste my time when I have to abort the task because if I continue crunching it will not finish by deadline and not receive any credit anyways. |
